This site has two inquiry forms: one for investment firms and acquirers discussing a mandate, and one for business owners replying to us. When you submit either, we receive the details you enter: your name, your firm or company where you give it, an email address or telephone number, and anything you choose to write in the message. We also record which of the two forms you used, because that determines who picks the inquiry up.

Our hosting provider records standard technical information about requests to the site, including IP address, timestamp and user agent. This is generated by the infrastructure for security and reliability purposes. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

We think this is worth stating plainly, because most sites cannot. This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or social media pixels, and no session recording. It stores nothing in your browser. There is no tracking to consent to, which is why you were not asked to.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use inquiry details for unrelated marketing.

We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to discuss whether our services fit your needs. Where you are asking us to consider working together, we rely on the lawful basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract. Otherwise we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries directed to us. You can object to that processing at any time using the contact address above.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and receive mail:

• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and transmits inquiry emails to us. It processes the request data and the contents of your inquiry in transit.
• Microsoft Corporation provides the mailbox the inquiry is delivered to, so your message is stored there as ordinary email.

Both act as processors on our instructions. We may also disclose personal data where we are required to by law, or to professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality.

These providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers put in place, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We keep inquiry correspondence for [retention period, e.g. 24 months] from our last exchange with you, after which it is deleted. If a conversation leads to a working relationship, the records created in the course of that relationship are governed by our engagement terms rather than by this policy. You may ask us to delete your inquiry sooner at any time.

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email Joon@stridepartners.co. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you raised it with us first so we can put it right. Our ICO registration reference is [ICO registration number].

The site is served over HTTPS and inquiry submissions are encrypted in transit. Inquiries are delivered to a mailbox protected by access controls and multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we would not claim otherwise, but we do not retain inquiry data anywhere beyond that mailbox.

If we change how this site handles personal data, we will update this page and the date shown at the top. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be notified directly.
